I can help with your dial-up service, whether you need to connect to the Internet through a new connection or just re-establish your existing dial-up account with your ISP (Internet Service Provider).

Wireless and/or Wired Network and Broadband Internet sharing Setup

 

Installation, security protection of your wireless network allowing you to share Broadband Internet resources. The latest wireless encryption technology will be implemented (if hardware will allow) to keep your data and web surfing safe from outsiders. I will also make your wireless connection invisible to the outside world, allowing you to share resources with privileged computers and devices only. Wireless router and additional hardware is not included with this service. I highly recommend the purchase of Linksys Products for quality, reliabilty and ease of setup.

 

The Wireless and/or Wired Network Setup includes:

1. Installation of a wireless and/or wired router and applicable network cards (customer purchased) and connect to an existing high-speed broadband source. Ex. Cable or DSL
2. Configuration of router settings — Username/Password, SSID, WEP or WPA— to encrypt your network. This will secure it from intruders that lurk on the internet or literally outside of your home.
3. Verify connections to make sure the networked computers can share the Internet.

Adding another Computer to an Existing Network

 

Looking to expand your local area network? I can add another computer to your existing network. This includes installation of a network interface device to a computer allowing it to communicate with existing machines and share resources such as a Broadband Internet connection.

Adding a Printer to an Existing Network

Looking to expand your local area network? I can add a printer to your existing network. Most printers will need to be attached to a local computer on the network in order for this to work. There are also printers that will connect directly to a network via hub, switch, router or wireless.
